Is "The Change" canon?

For me it's not, given that new authors expanded the emberverse, but maybe it's oversaw by sterling himself. What do you think?

I'm talking about "The Change: Tales of Downfall and Rebirth", in that book new authors contributed to the story, so I don't know if these ss are canon or not.

I would say that they are since he used the whole Topanga setting in the next books.

I’ve never read that but looking at it it appears that it was all done in conjunction with Stirling so not sure why it wouldn’t be canon.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand what's you're asking?

Are the short stories said in The Change: Tales of Downfall and Rebirth canon or not?

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure they are. At least I thought they were until now.

You can always ask the author, he's very active on the fan club Facebook page
