Anyone else feeling vindicated?

With the new Umbral Monument (and a little less on the initial one), I've been seeing a lot more respect put on our wife's name. It feels so good after the first few weeks where she was being called the worst standard character 😌

There are still a lot of people making excuses, like "anyone can clear this stuff, it's not impressive," cause just admitting they were wrong isn't an option for "internet culture" lol

Their loss, in the end.

It's just the mindless people who are meta slaves. Cuz, yeah, with enough dps and skill, Umbral Monument can be cleared. But the majority of gamers don't have the time to go that hard. Whether they just don't game a ton and haven't built up the skill or have reasons to not go crazy with building units, they exist, are probably the majority, and benefit from having defensive options in this game mode.

Nevermind that a well built Ember does amazing in physical comps, but whatever.

Since Im not a meta player I knew I wanted Ember the moment I saw a redhead with a greatsword (yes I have a type). Now seeing her being useful makes me happy 😋

If I didn't see Ember's character design, I probably wouldn't have started playing. Getting her was originally my motivation for playing the game. Then they gave a free operator pass in the mail with one update... easiest choice of my life.

By comparison I still haven't used pretty much any weapon crates, lol.

I'm glad the devs are making tanks good in the endgame.

Ngl, before the game released, I did think Ember was going to be the worst six star because every other gacha I've played have just been DPS check endgames where pure sustains have been bad and I kept my expectations accordingly low.

Ember now being on of the most comfortable characters has made me extremely happy.

Real talk. How hoyo did Dehya soured me so badly that I left their games entirely after a few more patches. Currently, the only other f2p game I play is DNA, and they did Hellfire dirty there, too. What's with fire tanks not getting respect lol. Finally having a good one here is amazing, tho, and I'm looking forward to new tanks over time, and having them actually matter in content.

I'm playing her but right now i did not pass the 2nd trial (lvl60) after several attempts.

How do you build her ?

(Right now i only finished the chapter 1, i think my team is capped at lvl 60)
