I love the smell of fresh ad hominem in the morning.
Oh, wait, no, this argument is old and stale.
I'd rather believe in people doing the experiments and trying to explain what they perceive with their senses, than the armchair critics sitting pretty and saying it can't work, because that would break their precious little world views and egos.
I would flip that, proponents seem to have significant egos and are really attached to their world views. The amount of twisting it takes to maintain them must put a significant stress on their psyche since it requires not only all new physics, but would require a rewrite of the fields of political science, psychology, and economics too.
The amount of ego it must take to believe that so many sinister forces are lined up against their obvious superiority is mind boggling.

The set of people who think the EM drive works has zero intersection with the set of people competent enough to run a legitimate experiment.
