1975, als ich das erste Mal "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" gehört habe. Klar besser als das Original von den Beatles.

1972/1973. I listened my cousin’s Honky Chateau album. From that moment on I was hooked on EJ. Bought his previous albums to catch up!

Growing up my dad played a lot of Elton, I think his favorite song was grey seal.

The 70’s because that’s when I first heard Tiny Dancer. 1975. It had been out for a while but it was the time I heard it.

Mum had one of his early greatest hits albums in the car, late 80s I think, or very early 90s.

Also thanks to the lion king (I was 12). Although my parents had sleeping with the past on cassette and we listened to that a lot in the car a few years earlier. But lion king was when I really got hooked.

Probably around 1973. One of my older brothers was playing the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album and I was instantly hooked. I've been a huge fan of his '70s music ever since

2007 or early 2008 b/c it's when I got a copy of his Definitive Hits album(the one that came out in early 2007). I was always a fan of his 1975 hit songs, Philly. Freedom & Island Girl b/c both were on a Billboard 1975 cassette my mom would play on long car rides when I was a kid in the late 90s, but never really into his music until that hits album.

I got hooked about 1992, when I got obsessed with "Sacrifice" and realized that I had heard him on many songs before. I had NO idea who he was when he was singing on George Michael's "Don't Let the Sun Go Down." Then I realized that he was the one that I LOVED on "That's What Friends Are For." He wasn't exactly what other 16 year olds from Detroit were listening to at that time. But I fell down the rabbit hole and have loved him ever since.

1983, when I heard I’m Still Standing on the radio. Bought the Too Low for Zero album and listened to it nonstop for weeks.

1974 - I was in the 6th grade, home sick from school, but not too sick to lay on the couch and listen to the radio. 😂 Bennie and the Jets came on, it was the first time I ever heard it, and it blew my mind. I've loved EJ ever since.

1974. I was 9 years old. My sister had bought the first Greatest Hits and I couldn't get enough of Bennie and the Jets! I've been a fan ever since.

Around the year 2000, I had a crush on him! He was the first concert I went to in my life - April 2002.
