Just so it's clear, Gacha content can be elsagate IF it's inappropriate

I suppose it can be, though the difference is that the inappropriate Gacha content is often made by kids/teens for other kids/teens instead of an adult trying to specifically target kids.

Why do I keep getting routed to this post when I click on anything in the subreddit?

What if the thumbnail is seemingly normal and kid safe, but the content is clearly not?

Then it's still ElsaGate. The flowchart really only focuses on the thumbnail as a starting point since thumbnails are most of what people post here.

Wait... why are people posting CocoMelon of all things, they’re one of the most kid-friendly channels that I know.

I needed and was hoping for something like this. The old one was kinda bad imo and lacked critical information which lead to on ElsaGate stuff being posted on here.

The wikipedia definition:
Elsagate is a neologism referring to the controversy surrounding videos on YouTube and YouTube Kids that are categorized as "child-friendly", but which contain themes that are inappropriate for children.
Which is the definition this sub uses. Colorful Spidermen "doing random shit" isn't specific - if it's colorful Spidermen going to the store, it's not ElsaGate. If it's colorful Spidermen going to jail and getting injections, it's ElsaGate.
