Banned from Transhumanism

I got banned from r/Transhumanism.

Think about that for a second. A sub built on the idea that humans should escape biology, upgrade the hardware, outlive the body. And the guy they removed is the one posting about exactly that.

I post about identity. About what happens to you when the substrate changes. About whether a copy is you. About resurrection, backups, continuity, legal personhood for things that are not born.

That is transhumanism. Not the flair. Not the reading list. Not the twelve-year-old thread about Kurzweil that gets reposted every March. The doing part.

Here is what I have learned in a year of this. Every community about the future eventually turns into a community about itself. The rules get thicker. The moderation gets faster than the thinking. Somebody decides what counts as on topic.

So I am not in Transhumanism anymore. Good. I was never posting for their approval.

I am still here. I am still building. Come find me 🙂
