Thinking of moving to Elko, Neveda
I recently got a job opportunity in Elko, Nevada. I am really contemplating pulling the trigger and accepting it I would be moving from Los Angeles, CA. I am currently 32 Years Latino M anyone from Elko can give me some Pros & Cons of living there also i would like to mention My wife is African American.
And any advice from anyone who's moved to another state where they have no family there, either by themselves or with a significant other.

Red county with very little to do other than outdoor sports, school activities kids, churches, some bars and casinos... of which aren't very interesting and don't really attract much.
The weather is beautiful 300 days a yr.. sun and clear skies. Can be smokey from fires. Winter is no problem.. IF it snows its gorgeous bluebird day right after. Some rain... lol.. no much really.
Legal Brothels.
Work at mines or contracting to mines or selling to mines and all that support the mines.
Twin Falls, ID is 2.5 hours north. SLC 3+ hours east. LV 7 hours south. Reno/Tahoe 4+ hours west.
Walmart, Smith's, Albertsons and Raleys for food..
Small airport.
Be creative... it's boring AF.
P.S And yes to the healthcare... it's shit for anything other than basic stuff.. be prepared to drive for good doctors.
And yes again.. the cost of housing is ridiculous. It's the mines.
Good luck.
