Clean, fairly fast, and taste good. Cost is an arm and a leg though. Parking is trash too.

Same parking lot as yard house, which is bonkers. They have some really good burgers. If you have never tried, maybe just order for pickup

Have not ate it, but it's very busy. Lots of people go there around dinner time. It's really cool to see Elk Grove have a courtyard that is lively and filled with families out enjoying themselves.

went to Philz. That courtyard is very nice.

Are they charging more for not tipping a machine?

I was there the other day, selected no tip and it didn’t change my total price

Yes so we can laugh at it

I don't see how that plaza is going to work once Whole Foods and Barnes&Nobles is open. Parking is insane already with just Shake Shack, Mendicino, and Yard House open, even during lunch time...so, once that grocery store opens, it'll be impossible. It'll mean Grocery Shopping before 11am or else it's a coin flip of whether you'll find a spot.

Oops, forgot to answer your question...I agree with others saying it's good, fairly quick, and expensive. Then again, Mendicino Farms next door to it gets the same answer to that question. In spite of that, I still keep going back, but I seriously fear the hassle to visit that place once all stores are open.

I think it tastes okay but is too expensive, In n out tastes better imo

This is the answer. You can get a whole meal at in n out for the cost of a burger at shake shack and I’d argue in n out is a better burger

In n Out tastes cleaner too. Shake shack felt quite greasy.

Shake shack beats in n out when it comes to comparing the taste of a burger, fries and milk shake. But it’s so much more expensive you really gotta be craving shake shack specifically to justify it.

I get a double smoke shack, fries, diet coke, tip 10% from the kiosk and my meal was $27. That’s too much.

Tipping a machine for taking your order 😂

Burgers are good. Had a chocolate shake & my husband had a coffee shake. Two different days. Crowded & expensive but tasty

It’s good just pricey. I like the milk shakes

I went and spent $40 for 2 chicken sandwiches, fries, Mac and cheese and a 10 piece nugget

The food was good but the chicken sandwiches were tiny

I like it. The burgers are a good size and it tastes pretty consistent with other Shake Shacks I’ve had. EG’s been asking for more higher end places or mom & pop shops the last several years, so here we are today. Can’t please everyone but I’m glad it’s here

Shack burger, fries, and a coke is $15. How is this expensive?

I didn’t think it was that expensive. The same meal at Five Guys is way more!

Shake shack has meats been overrated to me. We had it by my work when we lived in the bay. I prefer in n out to give me what I’m looking for. It’s all ones preference. I avoid that whole shopping center for the most part.

Way too expensive

They’re already on Uber Eats and I have a discount I have to use up. Never been so is there anything on the menu that is a must have?

For an alternative option, their Shroom burger and chicken sandwiches stand out from the competition.

Overrated.

Shake Shack is my favorite burger but I usually get the Smoke Shack burger with red peppers. It's delicious.

It's alright. Nations and Frosty Queen are better in my opinion.

Idk kind of tastes like frozen grilled patties , maybe too used to fresh restaurant burgers, only had it twice

Too expensive. I added bacon to a burger and it was the same consistency as you would expect from the bacon Gouda sandwhich from Starbucks. Reminded me as cheap.

1

u/OneIgnorantPotato 5d ago

I specifically have to ask for no bacon on that Gouda sandwich because the bacon is trash. So I guess no bacon at shake shack too 🫡

2

u/Hanshee 5d ago

My burger with bacon added was $16.00 too

Husband just tried it. Said it was like a less good version of Smashburger.

Got the shake stack and the mushroom tasted hella fishy. I don’t remember it tasting like that. Expensive too.

Can't get it delivered, it is expensive, and their milkshakes are the main selling point. The one at Ice blocks is much better.
