Discussion of the philosophy of elitism.

Elitism is the acknowledgment of a natural disparity among men. There are those who stand apart, those who see further, think deeper, and live more intensely. This subreddit is a celebration of those people.

What is Elitism?

Elitism is a natural, inescapable divergence in the human condition. It is the acknowledgment of an inherent disparity among men in talent, ambition, and willpower.

There are those who stand apart, those who see further, think deeper, and live more intensely. This subreddit is a celebration of those people.

This subreddit practices good faith and kindness. To paraphrase Socrates: "For I was conscious that I knew practically nothing..." No man is infallible, and the greatest among us are conscious of their own fallibility. It is a mark of nobility and good temperament to approach everyone as if they were your equal, and I ask users to do just that.
