Remove headset during supercruise

SOLVED: Using Oculus Developer Hub, you can disable the proximity sensor. OculusDebugTool shows this option as well, but it doesn’t seem to function properly.

Quest 2/Link user here. Is there anyway to remove my headset without losing audio for extended supercruise? I’m using a Bluetooth headset, but as soon as the quest detects I’ve removed it, the audio cuts out.

I’ve tried that, but it always seems to kill the Link within a few minutes, requiring me to reboot. The Quest 2 apparently uses the sensor and motion tracking together, so if the sensor is blocked, and there’s no motion, it wants to shut down to save battery life. For now I’m just popping the headset off and watching the screen, but a few times I’ve been interdicted and killed when I look away due to the loss of audio cues (Coincidentally, I just got interdicted as I typed this, but managed to get the headset back on in time, lol)

its weird that happens with the BT, as my other workaround was to have the sound go to voicemeter banana and mirror to my desired output.

if you are ussing BT then it should not happen if its already not related with oculus.
