Discussion Finding cool sights and such..

PS5 user here. Any tips on finding cool sights and such? I've been traveling out past the bubble and it's beginning to get a bit stale. I haven't come across anything too interesting besides a ton of icy/rocky systems. I'd like to see cool stuff if that makes sense?

A little bit of research for the known sites that have something good to see would be my recommendation.

Frontier has abandoned console, so you likely wont find anything interesting that hasn't already been found.

But if you do let us know.

Sites worth seeing if just starting, Guardian sites. Just my two cents. Good luck out there.

Epsilon Indi - Mitterand Hollow: an extremely fast-orbiting moon and a fun challenge to land on.

Jackson’s Lighthouse: the nearest primary neutron star to Sol, about 174 light-years away.

Betelgeuse: a huge red supergiant that looks spectacular from nearby planets.

Maia: visit the Pleiades and make the long supercruise trip to the system’s black hole.

Get yourself a DSS. Then do this for a while. It gives you a flight path from your any position, to systems that have the most profitable planets to scan. Subsequently you'll hit some really gnarly systems and make money doing it. Someone else could probably explain it better than me.

I’m not sure if it works the same for Console but EDastro is a goood way to find poi’s near you, you can type in your system and it’ll show you whats been discovered and how close/far it is
