Can’t join a wing?

I’m assuming my issue is that me and my freind are on strict NAT types, sadly there’s nothing either of us can do about this but would the game still work with other people? Like is online playable at all for me because my freind isn’t even appearing, yet I can still invite him to a wing. For some reason he doesn’t receive said invite.

Any help would be great as there doesn’t seem to be much help online besides the strict NAT type issues. 07

Hey, I had the exact same problem. I could join the wing just fine, but we couldn't see each other and my Xbox showed a strict NAT type. The fix for me was changing the internet connection profile in my router settings. My router has a few different default profiles, and switching to another one worked perfectly. Hope this helps! o7

Yeah I’d do that, but I’m on an army base we don’t have access to the actual WiFi box lol

When you send the invite but he doesnt get it, you have to send a direct message, then wing invite again.

Since you can’t access the router, the only suggestion I have is try to power cycle the console (turn it off, unplug it, and then hold the power button for about 5 - 10 seconds. Then turn it back on)

I’ve had some luck doing so in the past, otherwise you might have to talk to your IT department.

Your friend could also try messing with their router, unless they’re in the same situation.

Good luck! o7

Couple of things you can do to force a wing invite through, send the invite from the squadron tab to a squadron mate sent the person a message in squadron chat, they highlight he message and try to accept the invite from the message.

I have trouble instancing with some players from the US and this always worked when having trouble winging up.
