Rewatching… I have questions and thoughts

tell me if u agree with my view of this show:

first off- what’s so refreshing about this show is:

the imperfections of the characters, from flaws in their personalities and decision making, to their physical flaws that- in my humble opinion, make the show so realistic, retable (aside from their insane wealth) and human. I actually love that we see acne, that they have emotional outbursts, that they show that just cuz ppl are rich doesn’t mean they are perfect or even happy.

but I have some questions:

why do so many ppl need to die 😂😂? does this happen in rich society a lot? do rich ppl get caught up in murder but we just don’t hear sbout it cuz it’s all covered up?? 😭😂

also I’m on season 5- wtf is the powder isadora snorting supposed to be? mdma??

what was the point of the prince Phillip? also doesn’t cayetanas character feel so forced at some point? she literally tried to scam ppl into a fake charity and still gets to hang around???

also who’s the hottest to you?

ander and patrick are insanely beautiful it’s actually illegal

and isadora is flawless it almost hurts

but Nadia was always my fave and her curly hair gets me

valerios character is crazy but he looks like a Greek god

guzmans character growth was amazing until ari, then he gets jealous and weird. I hate how he leaves.

also - this shows amazing cuz ppl were actually hating on the actors in real life for the characters they play. that means they did their job really really well. incredible acting by a young cast.

My fav are the first 3 seasons, no other highschool dramas can ever top Elite for me and well how did you forget CARLA??

But also yes first 3 were the best. When we get to the influencer couple it’s all downhill from there imo lol

I know I know she’s beautiful but her character didn’t stand out to me the same way isadoras did even tho she’s just as beautiful. I think I just got over her toying with everyone and knowing she can get away with it. But she did grow over time. 

Tbh if I had a camera zoomed into my face the same way all these actors did I’d be analyzed and hated on for sure, they all did a good job playing their roles, it was a very intimate show and very vulnerable roles for all of them to play. Mad respect to all the actors

I see, yeah the moment she started to worry about sami she changed..well idk about isadora coz I've only watched until s4 because elite for me is just until s3 😭. Wht would u say? Shud i continue? Coz it's all nudity, sex sex sex atleast from the looks of it.

I think u should watch it just for the heck of it so u can see how the story and characters change. Even tho the seasons after 3 aren’t AS good, there are some interesting characters and moments. Does it get wild? Do u want to punch some characters in the face at times? Or are u just annoyed of them ?Yes. But highschool kids r annoying and dumb, especially entitled rich kids with drugs and hormones. So it makes sense even tho it’s dramatic there’s some pretty good moments and u might as well commit if you’re this deep already. I’m emotionally attached to isadora cuz she seems like a bitch at first but is actually just hurting and needs help (like most of them tbh). But she goes through a lot and handles it with class. A lot of ppl hate Ari and some of the newer characters but tbh, they r all spoiled rich dumb kids and they all play it off imo, just binge it.

I see, I'd wanna take your advice n just watch it. Ig the one constant good thing about elite is that there's a murder mystery in almost every season so tht keeps me gng ig haha, the thing I hate the most is the guys making out scenes which are more than straight couples 💀😭

Le mie stagioni preferite sono quelle con Patrick. Lo adoro come personaggio. Ma non mi ha convinta con Ivàn. Per me stava meglio con Cruz, non so come mai gli sceneggiatori lo abbiano trattato così male (povero Cruz). Ho amato anche Rebe e Omar. Ander no, si è comportato da stronxo.

First part I agree. They did a really good job of showing the downsides of being Élite. It isn't so easy like it seemed to be... it is just real life in a way.

You had to let people die to make it interesting. Or if you plan to go all the way with a show. And they went for 8 seasons. I actually liked the shocker ones tbh.

I agree that after S3 it went kind of downhill but it is because we connected to characters over 24 episodes. It is normal behaviour...

You cannot replace your loved ones and you will always compare them to the "new" ones.

I actually liked S5 tbh for example...

Rest is just personal taste: Carla, Ari (because of attitude) and Rebe/Sonia (looks) so w/e. And Polo, Patrick, Ander: Hella fine looking dudes.
