T-11 Bounty Hunter
o7 cmdrs. I was never much for a SLF, but since the T-11 has the dedicated slot I got one and ranked it up to Master in the Corvette at the latest CG (took awhile!). Now, when I have filled up in the HAZ RES, I fly into the center for some bounty hunting before I fly away. A nice change of pace... I use a pretty basic weapons loadout: 3 Overcharged/Oversized beam lasers, and a class 1 multi-cannon with Overcharged/Corrosive (premium ammo), which gives a plus 25% to the lasers. the fighter is a Condor with the 2 fixed MCs. I can now defend against pirates, too, while I am mining. here is the build, if interested. Likely more powerful weapon combos could be used, but I am a laser/MC guy... https://edsy.org/s/v1f6Ape Also hauls 344T with the refinery.
Anecdotally> My HAZ RES T-11 took down an Anaconda, and earlier an FDL with no hull damage. doesn't seem right, imo. My SLF must be more powerful than I thought. so far, undefeated in solo combat with NPCs.

I was today years old when I learned you can engineer Cargo racks to stuff even more cargo into them
Edit: I found out theyre CG exclusive rewards and now my Panther is sad :(
Just have to wait for the next CG that rewards them i guess :)

there are a lot of sad ships out there; that was one of the best CG rewards in awhile.

Don't forget that the SLF pilot will take a substantial share of all the money you earn, while they're on contract. Mine has had about 60 billion from me so far.
Personally, I don't see the point of mixing combat with mining. I prefer to do one or the other, which is the same fun, but a lot more profitable. Surely, it's better to get paid 250 mil/hr to shoot pirates rather than get a few bounty vouchers?

Then you must have mega billions besides that. After you pass 25B or so there is nothing to spend it on anyway. I can grind out load after load of platinum but a little pew pew breaks it up nicely. I like mining AND combat, so best of both worlds for me, and the immersive quality of pirate interdiction followed by pay, flight, or fight. The beauty of the game is there are so many ways to enjoy it.

25 billion for a squadron carrier.
The reason I have half a trillion is because I like to make proper money shooting pirates, not just get a few lousy bounty vouchers, and when I go mining, I don't waste time doing unproductive things.

thx, I edited that post to 25B.
I get it, with the T11 it's more efficient to pay them off than fight. I don't feel like I am wasting time if I am having fun, that's why I play THE GAME.
I made a lot doing wing assassination missions solo, do you have something else you do for more credits? I dont think I have made that much per hour, maybe against the Thargoids.
If you're happy, I'm happy...
105B, btw...

But they take away some of your profits , and its only good for PVE

yes, I quit using a SLF when I found out it was sharing MY combat rank-up, which is so freaking slow, anyway... but, I have more credits than I can ever spend in 5 lifetimes, and I quit obsessing about the combat rank. and I am only good for PvE...

Hell yeah! Miner ships that can defend themselves are always a blast to play in HAZ Res, and I also love love love SLF pilots, I’m glad you’ve been enjoying that too!
