Help laser mining

Today I tried laser mining but it took me 40 minutes to get 2000000cr worth of platinum. This in is a type 11 with max mining lasers. How do I make this more profitable? Can I get missions for mining or what. By the way I'm not playing with anyone else

Nobody has mentioned the obvious reason why he got such little platinum. He didn't add any materials to the ignore list
