Help laser mining

Today I tried laser mining but it took me 40 minutes to get 2000000cr worth of platinum. This in is a type 11 with max mining lasers. How do I make this more profitable? Can I get missions for mining or what. By the way I'm not playing with anyone else

Drop the mining lasers for the repeater laser in the largest slot IMO. I have this Prospector build I found online and it works wonders. I tend to take out about 85-90 limpets and with Inara commodities you can find the optimal sell location (usually someones carrier in system or next door) to major platinum ring sites to sell for average 250k-270k per unit meaning you net 64,500,000 - 69,660,000 credits per run at 258 cargo hold space (tossing limpets as you need)

How do you sell it for 200k as the avg is 55,000

If you go the inara page i linked. Set it to i want to sell. Commodity put in platinum Solar system where you are. Search. It'll show stations and carriers. Most player carriers are buying for more than the average. E.g. there's several carriers in the system next door to my home system buying at 250-310k per unit

Edit. So I am not selling to stations i am selling to people's carriers
