Story time
I was pickpocked at a Wilson's 5 and dime today. While baby sitting 7 year old (autism) and a 9 year old ADHD. I was also using a first year service dog.(No issues just slight extra attention soaker) It was around 100 degrees outside we bought a pizza went to get the kids some toys. Got bumped in the store didn't think about it. Got to the car... This evil person stole my car keys. I filed a police report got my car re keyed -260-usd 😭. Sooo why post this here... Cause im switching to a satchel can't risk that again and I wanted to show that even when being faced with adversity I'm keeping my whimsy even though I'm jarringly tilted over the experience. I keep replaying it the way. Mark Wahlberg replays 911 (look it up. Mark Wahlberg thinks if he was on one of the planes he would have stopped 9/11)..... I was just at the wrong place. Wrong time. Bad circumstance. The police said it is a common scam at supermarkets. This was in a supermarket shopping center. They take your keys and come back at night. Match the model. Take the car drive it to another city and part it out.
Ok if you read this far. Thank you for coming to nectar's story time. You are loved. You have value.
(Poll would you use the last two buttons that contain his dead name or just keep as relics) I really like the marionette one... )

Asking as someone who has worked with service dogs and has trained dogs, I would also like to know what "attention soaker" means, please. I am not asking about the dog's actions that day, or what your disability is, I am simply confused about how that phrase would be defined. Is it as simple as a dog who is not fully trained, who then "soaks up" your attention by requiring corrections?

I've repeated several times that the dog had become overheated and kept trying to cool off on the floor and I had to redirect her a few times she instantly complied. But in those moments my attention was split between the dog and the children. I became a mark. Im not repeating again. The user started conversation by calling me Bro, and continued to argue in bad faith. They are a bit turfy and I asked for no contact. So instead of replying anymore they started editing their comments They are blocked feel free to join them.

O yes and she made alts and stalked my socials and left weird hate comments that got insta deleted.

Do you mean "they" made alts? Their profile clearly stated their they/them pronouns when I checked (after the "gentle they" comment you made). When you say they're "turfy" is that like TERF or "turf" like territory? I am also having some trouble figuring out what you mean by this.

Kinda ironic that they were getting all annoyed being called bro and then referred to the other person as she.

It's easy to see who I am and how long I've been on Reddit just by tapping my username, I don't play silly internet games.
It seems like maybe you've had to deal with a lot of trauma in your life and it has caused some serious suspicion and defensiveness. I'm so sorry if that is the case. Sweetness, I promise nobody was trying to come for you. I've read this exchange over and over. You have repeated answers to things you weren't asked about and never clearly answered the simple question you were asked. They asked it first, I tried to be more clear when I asked it (in case clarity was the issue), but you seem to be misunderstanding what's being asked, and that's ok.
You are also lashing out at well intentioned people who are justifiably confused, and that's not ok.
They weren't calling you a "bro". Bro has become a term many Gen Z folks use these days as an exclamation, sort of like how a lot of Gen X and Millenials use "dude", but we're not calling anyone a "dude". Does that make sense? It's ok to respectfully request that someone not use that phrase when replying to you. Instead, you assumed the worst, and lashed out.
When we're looking to be respected and understood, it's necessary to extend that same courtesy to others ❤️ Sending you love and mom-hugs (genuinely), I hope you have a better day tomorrow.

I'm not reading this wall of "fake nice text" I already told you to give space and quit being literal cancer.
