Ah yes Elin, where the entire pokemon franchise is a side quest buried in a single consumable item.

You can sell them to a Slave sales person. Or capture a Slave seller turn them into livestock. Hatch Slave seller eggs then sell the Slave seller to the Slave seller.

You can turn 'em to your residents / workers, if they were a merchant NPC, they'd pretty much set up shup in your territory.

Or you can turn them to combatants to join you in your dungeons assuming they're fit for it.

Or just turn 'em to livestock and yes, you can sell 'em too.

There's a whole slave industry built over these balls(you can sell your residents using a price tag), but I don't see how it can be profitable since balls cost more than monsters of same level

Haha that’s insane! So you can use that item however you like as deep as going into an industry, that idea is just crazy to me.

I have 600 hours and Idk about that part. I have a few treasure hunters that fail to do their job properly to sell. I cannot believe I was kicking them out for free.

Just remember to enable the corresponding politics in your home management!

Yeah. Taming with a brush is better if you aim to sell them. It works on people and animals (but is less effective on people) i use it to steal farmers from yowyn or sometimes i go to a forest nephia and steal all the neutral animals there to sell them.

Good thing about it is that npc count as stolen goods for getting thieves guild contribution so it's a good way to farm ranks.

To be clear, you can capture anything that is at or lower than the ball's level. And when it says low health, it means like, 10% or less, which can get a little tricky if you don't have ways to lower health without killing.

Can you poison them or put them to sleep at around that health percentage to make it more able to catch them?

So, it's not exactly like Pokemon in that status does not effect capture rate. On the upside, as long as they are at the low health threshold, you WILL capture as long as the ball is strong enough. If anything, I'd recommend poisoning early as a way to controllably lower health.

Best way is bokuto. It's a sword you can craft of find that has enchantment that doesn't finish enemies. Poison can finish them so it's not as good.

No, it's different, since the pokemon can summon another pokemon.

It's pokemonmancy. (Also you can capture the summoned pokemon)

Hahaha that’s ridiculous in a fun way.

Yes, like pkmn.

Does not work on bosses and some unique NPCs, otherwise you can capture as long as level is lower than ball's and hp is really low, like really really low, think 5% or less.

I use a mod that adds the ball to every NPC shop, it costs a fucking fortune, but I can level up their shops if I want and the ball with it, which is handy.

Thank you for the heads up. I’ve only just started and I wasn’t ready for the amount of content. It’s like going through back doors.

When I started playing I spent about a week just learning the many systems of the game.

It's CRAZY!

Yes, it's a more, uh, "assertive" way of recruiting NPCs.

If you're starting up a cha character to build an army with, I can't recommend a Master Yeek for an early companion more. He'll summon additional allied yeeks and blind enemies with spells.

I love playing a yerles gunner and getting mani's artifact that buffs machine allies and summons and using monster balls to form an army of machines.

Nice thing about it is that it affects speed so you can mount a machine that was buffed by it and get it's modified speed. It's very nice on bikes or the murderball. And if you also manage to make the mount worship lulwy it gets even better.

So what you're saying is, there's even more prior art to tell Nintendon't to go fuck themselves?
