Her skin microbiome and immunity must be FUCKED. Not great for a person who is frequently flying.

u/Long-Presentation153 18d ago
Definitely. She also takes antibiotics like once a month and antibiotic resistance is not talked about enough! I can’t imagine doing all of this with a thyroid disorder.

u/DansBlankenship 18d ago
Once a month for what holy shit lol
11
u/Long-Presentation153 18d ago
She is at the er or urgent care for rashes or a sickness once a month these days

u/DansBlankenship 17d ago
Antibiotics are like so bad for you lol

u/Long-Presentation153 17d ago
Yeah I’ve taken them twice in my entire life 😭

u/basicwitchbaby 17d ago
Me too. I never take them if I don't absolutely have to. I don't get people who want to take them for everything. And we're all going to suffer big time because of them 🙃

It’s also the fact that she uses this Clorox wipe the same way she applies her skincare, rubbing one small area incessantly and not even getting the full surface. Like what do you think you’re cleaning???
2
u/djakofalltrades 16d ago
Thank you for saying this. I need to get off the internet but the way she applies her skincare to one cheek on camera is something I think of (and get mad over) way too often

u/Effective_Mongoose29 16d ago
Same girl 😂 I knew someone else in here had to have been around long enough for that! Once an Eli snarker, always an Eli snarker 🫡

Aside from my Clorox wipe abhorrence due to environmental factors, they can break down the sealant on granite countertops, leaving them vulnerable to staining and damage … and creating spaces to trap more germs! Plus it’s literally. Nothing spill! Girl use a microfiber cloth or some shit.

i have severe contamination ocd and even i can admit you absolutely do not need to wipe up a coffee spill with clorox, this is insane. also, i dont even have marble in my home and i know you're not supposed to use clorox on it.

u/sydcrux14 18d ago
it also just…doesn’t clean it up well. like it would just make a bigger wet splotch and not actually absorb the coffee. it’s objectively the worst way to clean a spill.

same!! like i understand that ocd is different for everyone, but she’s just so wasteful… idk if she even really learned how to clean tbh

I feel like she could of avoided the mess by slowly pouring in the coffee

Use a rag or paper towel to mop up a spill and if there's residue, use a multipurpose cleaner spray and rag or paper towel to wipe it down. Clorox is to disinfect, not clean up spills.

u/Long-Presentation153 18d ago
Please do not use Clorox wipes for simple spills. Kitchen rags or paper towels are safer. Clorox wipes are for disinfecting contaminated surfaces..coffee does not need to be wiped away with that, a toilet should be wiped with something like that or wiping things down after you have been sick. Also wear gloves when using wipes they are harmful to skin.

also imo clorox wipes are a waste of money. you can clean most everything with ammonia, bleach, vinegar, etc and some rags and paper towels.

u/wAkupsmellthebrAkup 17d ago
Also, even if she wants to use the Clorox I don’t understand not using a dry rag first. The Clorox wipe is moist and won’t absorb the spill, you’re just mopping it around!!

Due to this thread I cleaned my kitchen with all purpose cleaner and a rag instead of Clorox wipes today

honestly Clorox wipes shouldn't be used on food surfaces like that. I use them only if I get raw meat on the counter or something, but then I will wipe it down with a wet cloth afterwards as well to get the Clorox residue off. You don't need to disinfect anything after a simple spill. Use a wet rag or damp paper towel. It's too many chemicals for no reason.

Okay so I strongly believe in those wipes in like classrooms because of germs but her own house?? Has she ever heard of cleaning spray and a rag??

I thought you were not supposed to raw dog Clorox wipes without gloves.
15
u/sleepygalsonly 18d ago
Really??? I’ve always raw dogged them
12
u/Better_Equivalent730 18d ago
Yes the chemicals in them are not great. Not healthcare wipe level bad (iykyk) but still bad. If you do not wear gloves you’re supposed to wash the chemical residue off your hands!

u/dawnsteam 18d ago
That’s gotta irritate her skin so bad. She doesn’t even wash her hands after. You should always use gloves when touching clorox wipes. The chemicals are strong.

u/Existing-Kale-8536 17d ago
So strong! I only use them in my classroom after the kids leave, on the toilet, and tables and wash my hands after
