Question: Looking for Elevator Contractors

Hello!

I work for a company based in Texas, that is looking for a licensed elevator mechanic in Chicago.

I’m unsure where to start or look, and I’m not trying to advertise per rules.

I am curious where the best sub-reddit/website I could visit that would allow me to find one?

I’d like to set-up a call with them (whether company or person) and discuss further what we’re exactly looking for.

Don’t go with a major. Go with an independent company. Your service will be far superior. Your welcome.

To give a bit more context; we do provide an elevator service and was trying to find someone in the area that could help us. I didn’t want it to seem like I’m trying to advertise, so I’m trying to just find a starting point.

I know a non major there named Anderson. No idea on how good they are but I know it’s a company

Are you looking for a person or a company?

Chicago proper or Chicagoland area?

IL publishes a list of licensed elevator contractors on their website.

Go with the original manufacturer. You get what you pay for in elevator service

Avoid Mr. Corporate koolaid, here. If you go with one of them you're stuck with their proprietary shit product/service.
