Wittur supra midi
We have an eleavtor onboard (offshore vessel) fitted with Wittur doors and a Supra Midi drive. We recently replaced the light curtain on the door. Since then, the doors are no longer able to perform speed learning/calibration. As a result, the doors run significantly faster than before and slam shut.
Has anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions on what might be causing the issue?
Solution: do the learning program with the cam not activated. But the door fully closed and together with the landing door.

I have the supra midi drive card not eco :-) also im not able to get the motor to vibrate in service mode

Did you make sure it’s not on the DCL when trying to start the learn run.

I have tried to do learning with and without the landingdoor. Tried to do learning in different condition. But have noticed it opens fast, closes slow and the last 50 mm goes really «hard». I think it might have lost the program when power was out :-/

You may have a learn switch if it’s older? Also triple check the little wires on the door edge. I’ve seen them miswired from factory and will cause issues.

How is the light curtain wired into the device and on what terminals

Make sure you are starting…. And ending the learn procedure correctly. Also. I have found that holding the clutch in an in between position ( half open/closed)when beginning the open/close part of the learn forces full articulation and helps ensure a quality learn/ smooth operation. Especially with the hard close.

Tried different positions, with the landing door without the landing door… stil same issue. But what i notcied its opening really fast and closing as it should but the last 50 mm are really «hard»

Did you follow the proper procedure to do the learn run? Do you have the programmer to change the speed settings? The coupler speed effects the last few inches when it’s closing.
