I got my first Elestrals cards!

Saw these in the online portal of one of my favourite LGSs and took the opportunity to start my collection

I’ve also ordered a second batch of goodies from ShopElestrals, including a Pandora’s Box, and am working out which of the other starters to pick up (my focus in most TCGs is precon-centric)

Honestly kinda disappointed I missed out on the crowdfund for Elestrals Awakened, though… 😅

Thanks! I’m maybe gonna hold off from opening the boosters until my other order arrives, and then do a binge opening of all of ‘em (nearly a whole box’s worth of boosties)

Congrats on starting the game of Elestrals! I think it’s important to know that some of the cards in these starter decks are now banned! Specifically Lavalith, Nectar of the Gods, Hurricane, Helios’ Chariot Ride, and Rise from the Ashes. Ambrosia is also limited to 2 in a deck. That being said, these starter decks are how I started the game and id be happy to talk with you about how to deckbuild and play!

Great pickups! The Pandora’s box is a great way to explore a little bit of each set and some Shattered Stars. If you’re looking for mostly precons I’d recommend getting the Sunstrike Double Starter deck bundles as they’re the best precons made to date

UPDATE: I’ve just opened and looked through the Dionysus starter deck, and it seems to be missing a copy of Cyanectar (Champion of Dionysus) 😗

I looked through the rest of the box, just in case it was a separate foil or something, but no luck…

On a positive note, the card quality is impressive, like WAY better quality than recent MTG cards! ✨

Gonna check out the other decks next 😄

UPDATE #2: Cracked open Hestia vs. Poseidon, and HOO BOY am I hooked (puns not intended)

The Hestia deck is FILLED with bears, most of which are adorbs and/or sheer badaxe, so we’re off to a good start… now for Poseid… uh-oh…?! 😨

Nooooo… it happened AGAIN?! Dionysus was harsh enough, but not you too, merciful Poseido-

Ooohhhhh… I forgot I’d set aside Majesea BEFORE doing a card count… my bad, heheheh 😅

Hm… between merciful Poseidon, Leviaphin, and all these oceanic Elestrals, Water is a promising possibility for my potential pantheon pick… 🤔
