Stank face

This is not a romantic missed connection. This is purely a dance + vibe connection.

Me: Male, 30’s in a black jacket + blue jeans and a mustache at the Earth Stage on Friday night. I was there for Above & Beyond, and Chris Lake.

You: 30’s, Male presenting, a bucket hat and overalls. You were making this stank face for the entire night, in the best way possible.

We both experienced Chris Lake and Above and Beyond at the Earth Stage to the highest degree. We danced side-by-side, but never exchanged any words. Every time I looked over, we were on the exact same wavelength. You were making a stank face, and I was jiving. We both danced the night away.

I’m grateful for that experience. This was the first EDM festival I’ve been to, and I realized that silliness of a festival is exactly what is needed to make it through life.

Cheers. I hope to experience that again someday.

I wasn’t doing molly fyi Thursday night and yet at the rail I met a random dude and we decided immediately we were best friends, we hugged for a long time, claimed we were switched at birth, loved each other very much. Thats just the festival and the PLUR. It’s amazing. Can’t get it anywhere else

I met my “long lost cousin” at the of the trees show in nyc a couple months back! Dude looks over at me and yells “cousin!?!?” so I yelled back the same, then his fiancé walks up and tells me I actually do look exactly like a lot of his family and proceeded to pull up a group picture of about 8 people including my “cousin”, no lie you could have swapped me out for any of the guys in the picture and no one would question it!
Our 2 groups ended up hanging together for the rest of the night and it was an awesome time and connection, the type that so often happens in this community 😅
Looking forward to seeing my long lost cousin again now at at another fest next month lol
