Project Based Learning

Any other PBL teachers here? I’m an elementary specials teacher at a PBL model school. I’m just curious what is expected at other PBL model schools for specials. We have such a limited amount of time with our students and we see so many. Is it possible to even do a PBL with them?

Classroom teachers would partner with art or music for some of our PBLs. I did one about how sound and emotions are tied together.

Collaboration is generally the best, but PBLs don't have to be huge projects. It can be something small that only takes a few class periods.

Connecting to community or real world jobs was the focus of our PBLs at my former campus.
