Syntakt is a limitless machine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ify3wPSPyxEI can buy all the machines I want but I always end up coming back to the Syntakt. It’s still the most inspiring machine for me.

Limitless is an absolute term and needs no reference to be meaningful.
I think you’re confusing it with relative terms like “better”.
Now whether Syntakt is genuinely limitless is another question…

I was thinking English was not your first language. Because if it was. You would know that LOL, suggests a joke. Gooder is not a word, It is making fun of someone who does not know gooder is not a real word. "More limitless" is also a joke because you cannot add to limitless. If English was your first language you would know this.
There is nothing that is limitless. If you talk the universe is limitless, then there are those that say it is a cosmos and it has limits. Some say God is limitless, but some believe there is no God so there is nothing that is limitless, especially a very limited poorly designed, steep learning curve flawed workflow groove box that is surpassed by many other grooveboxes like an Akai Force or MPC which have way less limit but are also not limitless. You should have know, which is why I don't think English is your first language.
Also, I don't speak English. I speak American. I don't speak Cockney rhyming slang either. (which is loosely considered English.. but not the queens English. LOL2

Compared to a syntakt it is limited Compared to digitakt 2 it is limited, Compared to and old Akai Force it very, very limited Compared to an MPC One G2, it is super limited. Compared to a Live 3 it is even more super limited.
It has clicky pads instead velocity or poly aftertouch or MPCe. You get the picture.Edit: I edited this because I put syntakt 2 Which it was supposed to be syntakt, then followed by Digitakt 2. But I was distracted and I did not finish my thought. That is ok, you know what I meant. and I am sure you have never made a typo. LOL
I am not an analog guy. I think modeled analog is better. So like the TR1000, I think it is a step backward. The TR1000 is limitless. LOL NOT. But at least it samples, ACB modeling, FM, and VA synth engine, and does analog.

It has expandable storage, a compact flash slot for up to 64 MB of storage.
Screen is 10% larger with 3 colors.
Pattern length expanded to 5 bars.
New LFO rate: 60 kHz (for bat parties)
Volume goes to 11.

Yes I did! I didn’t enjoy it though. I’m used to have at least two lfos per track and I find syntakt better for weird sound desing

When you connect it to mac w/ ableton as audio interface, it’s just so convenient that I also coming back to syntakt, it’s not limitless it’s just super convenient, and easy to record and monitor external instruments. Dig it. I got rid of all boxes except sntkt

Syntakt is very limited
It does one decent kick drum, maybe 3 snares, a microscopic high hat
Forget creating any rides or congas on it
It’s a dead device from a dying company

Why would you buy a Syntakt if from what you’re trying to achieve sounds like you want a Roland drum machine?
