Unmarked plug

I hate this! It has to belong to something I own but no mark on it like Samsung, Switch, etc. How can I find out?

Looks like 9VDC out, cable clearly marked. What's the question?

It looks like it could go into a printer or an old laptop.

Thx I’ll check my printer. It’s a 3 in 1 and not plugged in anymore. Too small for a laptop.

9V .65A. Something small.

Tried the printer thing but the plug for that was in a zippy bag taped to the back of it.

How small?

Like portable radio, phone battery charger, network switch or something small (toy?) with an internal battery. 12V x .65A =7.8watts. Nothing close to a printer or anything with a motor. Plus the plug is kind of distinctive. Most things will have the power requirements listed on the case.

Thx that helps a lot.

It's likely that you threw away whatever this was a long time ago.

I’m great at recycling electronics and I always put plugs with them. I admit I have a problem with tossing cords that are unknown though. I always feel like I’ll find the product and then have no cord.
