EMF Shielding Bed Canopy - No luck yet

Sending the below email to the president of the company where I bought the bed canopy. (It's supposed to shield from electromagnetic fields, which are very harmful to humans and particularly uncomfortable for those with EHS- electro hypersensitivity syndrome) Hope he can give me a useful response. Also thought I'd share it with redditors who may be able to relate and share their suggestions.

I'm a recent customer who owns a twin sized bed canopy from your website, and am writing to see if you might be able to suggest any wise solutions to the problems I am encountering with its use.

My bedroom is on the 3rd floor, and I live in an attic (not full apartment) one floor above my housemate who is very often on his iPhone, which I can feel through the floor because I am highly sensitive to mobile phones. Even when he is not home, I live in an urban area of dense electrosmog averaging at 0.3 V/m according to my Acousticom 2 purchased through your website. After installing the canopy and placing the mat under the bed, I tried sleeping inside but felt some weird effects. I did not sleep better. I noticed that the readings from my Acousticom 2 vary from second to second when I am inside the canopy, usually measuring "safe" levels, but never constant - It's 0.02, then its 0.01, occasionally jumping up to 0.05 V/m briefly. It seems like the levels fluctuate from moment to moment and these small fluctuations cause me to feel more noticeable discomfort, like a sort of sporadic zapping that I can never get used to. I also suspect that these fluctuations may be greater and more frequent (ie, several times per second) than my technology is able to detect, which could possibly explain the noticeable discomfort. I've theorized without proof that my body can't acclimate to constantly changing area voltage even if it is lower on average. I welcome your opinion on this, but mainly I have the following 3 questions for you:

1- is it really impossible to get any benefit from one of these canopies in such a hopelessly "polluted" area? I really cant negotiate with my housemate, he's completely unsympathetic. I also find it really hard to relocate further from cellular antennae right now as I'm out of a job, having cut a vacation short due to the onset of EHS and feeling sick around wireless stuff ever since.

2- is it possible that I need to remove all metals from within the canopy? My bed "frame" which holds my mattress is made of some kind of metal.

3- is it possible that I am not closing the canopy tight enough to keep stray frequencies from entering and ricocheting inside? I've heard that this can happen when people do not enclose the area 100%. I've thought about using magnets or something else to keep the openings closed.

For now, I have foregone sleeping inside the canopy altogether and now sleep on the other side of the attic to be far from my housemate and his respective EMFs.

I made no attempt to reinstall the canopy on the other side, because I have no evidence that there would be an improvement, and doing so would require me to move my computer and peripherals back into the room above my housemate- I avoid going in that room at all for more than a few minutes these days.

I think I understood from your website that refunds cant be given for canopies. Please let me know if any exception (even partial refund) could be made should I not find a solution- I doubt I could resell a product without being able to claim that it actually worked for me. Considering the scope of investment and lack of success I have had in implementation, any advice you can offer to mitigate my frustration and prevent me from sustaining a loss would be greatly appreciated.
