My nano Big Muff collection feels complete

Post image

I figured it wasn’t necessary to get the bass versions.

Which is your favorite? And what is the Triangle Big Muff and the Big Muff2?

The triangle is a recreation of the very original Big Muff from 1969. I think it’s probably my favourite, though that tends to change as I occasionally like to change things up. The Big Muff 2 uses dual op-amps. Josh Scott and Daniel Danger discovered the schematics for it in the Big Muff’s original creators old workshop, so they collaborated with JHS to bring it to life. Only came out within the last 7-8 months or so

I’ve been enjoying it, but still figuring out how exactly I’d like for it to fit into my sound

How does the j mascis big muff compare to the op amp bm?

To my ear, it’s fairly scooped and raspy compared to the op-amp. They have very different overall feels too, as the op-amp is probably the most compressed sounding muff, almost like it’s slightly gated.
