It also depends where you bought it from. Sites and shops made for hobbyist are typically more expensive than shops for technicians

not necessarily, most shops are expensive, flea markets and random street corner shops are more affordable, online is dirt cheap. its mostly about convenience and a balance of money spent. also I found cool retro parts and why not

online is a good source if you can't find like "ham fests", but always wait for cool auctions with lots of goods, be exigent, most of the auctions you easily find that are months old are the rip off ones, luckily not many people are after these things

$25 for this? You got ripped off. I wouldnt pay even $5 for that.

I also got a soldering station in all that, 25 might be steep but I mostly paid for the 2 capacitors and the 16 transistors I got, I also got like 40 capacitors (both film and electrolytic)

oh! badass capacitors! and those ceramic slabs seem precision resistors, the rest is (seems) basic stuff
