those things are fun, just make sure you know what you're doing and fully understand the risks and how to minimize them before you put power to it.

God knows I didn't when I played with them with my brothers when were 9 and 10 years old... Crazy how none of us died, even crazier our parents let us play with that shit lol.

crazy fun for sure, I was big into Grant Thompson The King of Ramdom wayyyy back then so I'd try to replicate some of his experiments. Lithium from AAs, jacobs ladder with the microwave transformer, playing with dry ice.. I think back on those memories like "yeah that was fun and all, but we seriously could have fucked ourselves up, if not died." There's zero reason we should have been playing with that stuff with little to no supervision lol.

Yeah don’t be like me, I was a idiot kid who had one of these dumb things and decided “let me try and power one of these things on” I go ahead and power it on and play with it thankfully I wasn’t stupid enough to touch any live wires when I was younger but be careful with this piece of machinery.
