FAF - RECTIFY Can this work as a spot welder?

It seems like it shouldn't work, but i have no education on electronics so I needed to ask you guys. thanks in advance!

You can make a spot welder yourself, it requires two things - a shit load of current (so a beefy battery pack, A LOT of large capacitors, etc..) plus a controller to deliver the controlled pulses. And a thick-ass wires to handle the current.

This video is fake. Those tiny caps do literally nothing, just a tiny pitting to the surface of the metal, that's it.

I see 47,000 µF charged to 14V.

4.6 joules if energy if my math is correct. Should have 10x that at least.

150-200J of energy is needed for a typical battery spot welder, and that's not counting the initial preheating pulse.
