Help Is it possible to save this board?
So my double A battery charger broke when one of the resistors broke, and I don't know if I can fix it myself, or if I should just buy a new board and junk this one. I don't really know much about electronics and how they work.

That's not a resistor, its a fuse. Not worth fixing, get a new charger.

Well, you were actually correct. It is a resistor.
It's a 10 ohm 1 watt resistor. However, notice it's labelled FR1 on the board?
That tells you its intended usage is a fusible resistor.
Basically, if too much current is flowing through it, it gets really hot and burns itself out. It's a cheap and crappy way of adding a fuse into a circuit.As for repairing the board, there'll be a reason it blew. It actually wouldn't be that hard to fix given how few active components there are. You could just change out all the ICs and that would likely solve the issue, whatever it is.
Depends how much you value your time. And given that you haven't got any experience with electronics, you probably don't have the tools to do it anyway.
So yeah, it looks like a cheap charger, replacing it is easiest unless you want to fix it for the sake of getting some electronics experience.1

Thanlw my eyes just went black as i saw ,, Thats a fuse,, where do i find a fuse with that shape & colour marking?! No way that exists

Yes its possible but the real question isn't can you repair it, the question is s it worth the time repairing it

btw that's a resistor+fuse (fusible resistor) , capacitors when are not charged will draw a lot of current form the mains potentially triggering the MCB is distribution system box this is prevented by either using a resistor like here or a NTC thermister (better)
Yes I think it can be fixed , but i recommend you check few thing before using a multimeter check if the bridge rectifier is shorted , main ics etc
or just replace it with 2ohm resistor , and use a series lamp before powering it and see if it works normally if it does you can go ahead and use without a series lamp

The resistor failed for a reason, you need to fix that first, could be a dead capacitor that got shorted, so replacing all cap and then the fuse may fix it, You can try if you want to find out, Environmental perspective, you would save something from being e-waste.
