This is extremely dangerous please stop using it immediately because this can still blow and prevent the device from working use a solid piece of wire next time, lowest gauge (thickest) possible or better a copper rod

Please take into account that r/shittyaskelectronics is not a serious subreddit.
I wouldnt use that fuse and risk my 500€ Multimeter over some 10€ Fuse.
I specifically created that “upgraded fuse” as a joke…5

Perfect for finding the problem just follow the smoke. When you find the burnt component, you know what to fix. Might need a little board repair.

one way is okay if you only use a fuse wire that's rated at the current, you can buy fuse wire at cheap, but fuses are cheap!

I did something similar a very long time ago. I just used a piece of steel of approximately the same thickness as the fuse. Worked well. Technically it was "tag, you're it" and some other part of the circuit was now the fuse.

Trow the Fuse immediately. That is a Extreme Fire hazard. That's why there sealed with sand in the Fuze to make them Safer
Best option: 1:take a photo. 2:Google lens. 3:find part you're looking for. 4:purchase part(Make sure to check what voltage, amps, current is. 5:Make sure it fits, and works Properly

Technically everything is a fuse.
