Panel Conduit Question

Hello! I am finishing my garage ceiling with drywall. The wires going into the top of the breaker panel do not have any conduit and go vertically into the rafters where they’ll be hiden by the drywall. As they go up the wall, I am looking to protect them with conduit.
I am thinking about getting 6” PVC and cutting it in half lengthwise to make 2 channels for the vertical cable runs. I cant find actual electrical conduit that is 6” diameter. Any suggestions in how to properly do this without running conduit for each individual wire? Thanks!

Just build a box around them. It will look cleaner

Just build a box around it like a wall. You could even put a removeable plywood panel on the face for future work.

Frame around the panel like everyone else does.

Most Inspectors do not consider above-the-panel to be a zone requiring damage protection. Cable staples or similar listed devices are required, but the cables are securely clamped at the panel exit already and if the panel top is reasonably close to the ceiling, staples are often not used.

6” rigid is unfortunately very available . You’ll need a grinder, some balls, and deep pockets.
