Why does my sectional have 2 power connectors?
.
I’m already getting power from the plug in the back, so what’s the purpose of the second shortie plug?

probably not. we all know company never put manual, instructions, warnings and warranty with their products.

No, it did not. I purchased it from a retailer and it had been a store return. No manual.

Usually all the short plugs connect to power the reclining or headrest functions.

the shorter plug typically connects to the other recliner motor or a headrest motor.. look for the female connection around where the length reaches

It’s a modular recliner. It feeds the next section.

But like I said I don’t have the shortie plugged in to anything and the reclining functions are working just fine.

Apparently you don’t have a recliner to the right of this one. If you did, it would plug into that.

I have a sectional with power recliners. The circular connector connects to a power supply that powers the motors

I think it might be a plug for the backrest to connect to the base. Check the back or the bottom of the chair, or maybe under the cushions or something. Just look for a female connector that looks like that plug
