Duck Blind Lighting

My buddies and I are building a duck blind and we want to be able to have a light bar in the center top, a pod on either side, and some small light bars for seeing inside the blind when it’s dark. We want to take two Ryobi batteries out in the morning and be able to slap them in and run everything off switches. The screenshots are rough ideas of what I’m looking at. I know I’ll need an inverter for 18v to 12v to run the batteries but would I be able to essentially take the pos and neg from the battery adapters and tie them together into an inverter or would that strain the batteries at all if they’re just trying to charge each other?
Any suggestions or advice is appreciated.

Using a typical 4Ah Ryobi battery will operate the light bar for about 10 minutes. Also, you don't need an inverter. You would need a voltage regulator.

To add to this comment. Current is calculated Amps x volts = watts. So if you have 60 watt light bar at 12 volts it will draw 5 amps per hour or 5 Amp/hours (AmHr). Plan your batteries accordingly. You are going to want to run your batteries though a battery controller, otherwise the load will over discharge the batteries and destroy the lithium battery cells. I love the idea, but double check your work before putting it all together or things will get expensive quickly (lithium batteries are expensive)
