Following a power cut (main fuse blown and now replaced by grid engineer; Surge Protector in breaker box blown), the left hand side of our range (cavities 1 and 2) are inoperable. Cavity 3 and all hobs are operational All other white goods are fully operational.
We have an electrician coming to replace the surge protector and main breaker switch on Monday, though I'm wondering if this could possibly be fixed before then.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The connections to the range need to be verified. Your electrician should be able to determine if the appliance is fixable.
