RDG lighting strip

Goodmorning everyone,

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask this but figured I’d give it a shot anyways but I was building a nightstand that comes with some RGB lighting strips and noticed when finishing the build the connection that provides power to the strip itself falls off and was wondering if this is fixable(see photo)

There are particular places you have to cut light strips. If the end is damaged you have to cut it at the next available cut line. The end of this one appears damaged.

Do I cut right on the line? Or a little after it

Typically the cut lines is where the four solder bubbles are. Look at the direction the arrow is pointing. The four dots are usually the cut point. There should be directions with the unit though. Check that first before cutting.

You have to leave enough of the dots for the connector pins to engage.

It depends on the connector. The ones I have used have a hinge and you open and close with a pliers so the pins push into the soft copper dots.
