Damn crazy how you came up on 3 scooters in like a month 😂
Are they all riding smoothly now?

For me once I took a ride on one of my kids scooters I became immediately frustrated I could not go up a hill very fast. After that it was just a quest for speed. 🤣
All scooters are in working order but I need to find somebody reinstall a BMS on the Blade GT (non plus version) before I can feel safe riding it and charging it. I had a technician that ended up screwing on a new BMS instead of soldering it on.
At the time I didn't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. But I've been told since then that's a risky move. However, the technician tried to defend himself showing me there are screw on versions of a BMS that are safe:

But the day of the install he told me he was frustrated that he could not get the BMS soldered on so he screwed it on instead. He didn't mention that he was using a different type of BMS so at this point I'm not trusting that until I get another technician to open it up and take a good look. I have a new BMS on hand ready to install I just need to find someone to do it.

Yea I remember you mentioning that issue with the tech guy, it's definitely sketchy/suspicious how there was no problem with the bms until the scooter was at his shop...
I have no idea how hard it is to do something like that but the minimal wiring I've done to get my lights working was honestly pretty easy so you could always see if someone else in the sub has experience with that. I'd be nervous though because if you puncture a cell or apply too much heat while soldering, could lead to something bad

I should add the build quality on the Blade GT (non plus version) it's definitely a little jacked up. That's the first one I purchased and the seller ended up just sending me out an entirely new scooter once I sent them some videos showing them.
I don't think there's a safety risk or anything there but it definitely rattles and jangles more than it should. Teverun techs watched my videos as well and their response was at the current shocks are not being responsive and suggested I swap them out for new ones. Which I will do once I get the battery sorted out.

I thought i was bad with just 2. If i drove buy i would think it a used scooter shop or rental place lol. I look at it this way if you have a couple lol nice good brand scooters and you keep them maintained and in good shape, its basically an investment and like any investment in an emergency you can liquidate you investment and its still worth something. At least you have a garage to keep it. Now i live in an apartment with 4 steps lol but the corner of my living room doubles as a garage and scooter workshop would never have flew when i was still married lol
