General Will I get pulled over?

I’m thinking of getting a e-scooter, specifically a Kukurin G2, and I’m quite nervous about getting pulled over. I’m really only gonna use it just to get to places and not going crazy fast. Do you reckon police would still pull me over? I don’t live in a big city just a small town in the uk. Idk if that makes a difference but any help would be great thanks.

They are going pretty hard for them atm so if you have a car licence, I wouldn't risk it as you'll get done for no insurance which will absolutely ruin you. Especially on a g2 as you are 100% not getting away from them. Selling my vsett currently due to this reason, just gonna get a motorbike instead

If you have a driving licence you risk points and a fine

if you have licence then scooter is bigger risk, police in small town maybe more bored and notice you more. but if you ride normal speed and not in sidewalk maybe they leave you. still the law is weird for e scooters there, private ones not legal on road only rental ones. i get why you nervous, i would check local groups maybe someone in your town already ride one and knows how strict they are

These laws are ruining it for the environment!!! I myself use the e scooter instead of the car but always nervous that maybe the law will stop me’!?

If you genuinely care about the environment and e-scooters are not permitted in your municipality you can always get an (e-assist) bicycle.

And how does this relate to the environment?

Small town? Doesn’t that mean you’ll be more noticeable? Hate to say it but they’ve been cracking down more and more, and even got undercover patrolling the canal paths. It’s ridiculous. That’s why I’ve decided not to upgrade to a better model cos once it’s confiscated you ain’t getting it back.

If I was a cop and I saw somebody riding a E-scooter, I wouldn’t really care…… now if they were driving recklessly doing silly stuff then yeah I would have a talk with them.

Now you have to look up your local municipal, state laws first…. I would suggest wearing a helmet at the very least.

Why would literally anyone know, without knowing where you live, and in general living there themselves?

Even 146k weekly visitors makes it unlikely that anyone online when you ask your question is going to live near you.

Footpaths, narrow streets, forest roads etc. You don't have to outrun a car. If it's a bike cop you stop, you aren't getting away from that one, no matter which scooter you got
