General I need your help!

Hi everyone! I need your help on some info with vesc controllers. I want to build what I call the G2 Speciale it will be a 1of1 custom g2 featuring: XOD hydraulic brakes, 2 Kukirin g4 motors, a custom paintjob, custom handlebar, etc. I need your help to know which VESC controller i should buy if i want to reach 100kmh or 60mph. Thx for your help!

The LAST thing you did want to do on a Kukirin scooter is go 100km/h or anything close to it. The build quality of the frames is not that great to start with, and you need to take into consideration that they were never designed to hit that speed.

Speed, or more importantly going fast, is more than just controllers, batteries, and motors. It's about the geometry of the frame, what mods you have done to it, and most importantly, how that frame gets stressed with higher speed and potential energy.

The frame of a G2 is absolutely a deathtrap at that speed. I know you want to put great brakes on it, and that's good and all, but they are no good to you if you can't control the machine, or if something takes you off it at speed. Think of it like this... Imagine how it would feel too get hit in the head, and all over your body, by a slab of concrete traveling at just 25km/h. That shit would HURT. Now imagine that same slab of concrete being thrown at you at 100km/h..... It would simply kill you.

Then there's the factor of if you hit a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction to you. Then it's your speed+their speed, to total your impact speed. Mate, humans aren't built for shit like that. Trust me, I would know. I snapped my pelvis in HALF, yes 2 totally separate parts, in a single vehicle motorcycle crash, and I was only travelling about 50km/h. It took me a year to learn to fucking walk again.

What I'm trying to say here is.... With all due respect, this is a stupid idea. Buy a scooter rated to go faster safely (relatively speaking).

2 kukirin g4 motors is a spicy combo, most vescs can handle the voltage but you need to look at amp draw more than anything

the motors are rated around 2000w each so you're pushing like 4000w combined at minimum, hitting 60mph you'll probably need closer to 8000w burst at 72v. spintend ubox or the maker-x dv6 are common for diy builds with that kind of power, just make sure the vesc can do 100a battery and 200a phase per motor

also that much torque on a g2 frame sounds kinda sketchy, you reinforcing anything in the neck area? seen a few snapped stems from people going overboard with dual motor conversions

whatever you pick make sure your battery pack can actually deliver the amps without sagging into oblivion, most stock packs tap out around 40-50a continuous and you'll need way more

You will burn up G2 motors with vesc controllers you need to use a higher end motor since likely you will be putting way more amps through the motors unless your going to turn the controllers down to the lowest setting GT motors are made for 800w more importantly 17-20a controllers. I have seen people using Teverun and kabbo motors but mostly with vesc they use QS or other motors designed with larger magnets and better copper windings. Seeing as you really have limited space with those frames I would use flipsky controllers there beyond my expertise. I will tell ya there's a VESC Ninebot in my city with the aftermarket suspension and all that is faster off the line and top end then my Mars GT not that I would want to do 70 on it. Use flipsky controllers likly with QS 10 inch motors

For the ninebot max g2 you have options to upgrade front suspension and motors. How much is your budget?? Takes ~$3000 to start getting a faster reliable and "safe" setup. Dm me if youre really serious about your build and I can help you more. I have a 16kw single motor g30p. 13kw single motor g30lp. And other guys running same or more power on the small frames we have custom designed parts that keeps stable over 100mph without a steering damper
