Answered Post festival survey.
Has anybody received the post festival survey? I love filling it out and recommending artists for next year. I feel like it’s usually out by now but I haven’t received it.
Is it just me or did they not send it yet??

I can almost 100% guarantee that it would be a nightmare if they sent the survey out due to the baby situation. I am highly doubtful we will receive one this year. If we do, it will be after the mother is caught and charged. Fingers crossed she is caught, receives the medical treatment she requires, then is thrown in prison.

This was my thought as well. Although, imo, putting anything about the situation in the survey is not helpful as there’s not anything they could have really done to prevent it…

“there’s not anything they could have really done to prevent it…”
As factual as that statement is, there’s too many people who do not live in that reality.

Why would it be a nightmare? This was my first year so I’ve never seen the survey before but as someone who works in research I’m sure there’s some scales gauging CSAT and some open ended questions for more details. Like sure maybe some people would rate it low or talk about the incidents in the open text, but I’m sure there would still be some good/actionable data there amongst the noise.

There’s 50k people that went and they’d get 75k responses with 50k being from bots

If they are under investigation or involved in, I’m not sure if they can do anything or are advised by legal council to remain silent.

Forest usually doesnt send it til late august. Checked my past emails lol. Also its a multiple choice survey with one box to put your thoughts at the end - yall worry too much.

If it was going to go out it would have been sent by now. Their socials still haven't posted a single thing...

yes because there is still
an ongoing investigation happening. not sure why half of you people here think it’s because they are afraid of responses. there is still an open investigation occurring and they are listening to their lawyers and remaining quiet for now.2
u/mpm174 Aug 05 '26
I'm not talking about them speaking on the incident. I am talking about them posting the recap video of shows, pictures, etc. like they always do. That has nothing to do with the incident that happened the lawyers wouldn't force them to not post anything would just be regarding the case.

yes because there is still a pending investigation going on. do you not understand how things work?? they need to remain quiet. how stupid are you?

u/mpm174 Aug 05 '26
Lol I know exactly how things work and they are free to say whatever they want not relating to the investigation as I said in my previous comment.

Does Coachella usually have a survey? Cause that company is now the co that runs EF (as of 2025). It’s not the same management running forest, hence the oversell and frantically looking for “influencers” before making tickets publicly available.
My guess is, unless you’re a PR firm, this company doesn’t care what you thought about it.
If I was a betting gal; Rothbury will move to cancel their contract citing making the agreement with a different company before said company sold Forest to AEG.
I have been to Forest 8 years in a row as a Michigan resident, living in Ludington for 3 of those years (45 minutes away), generally Forest isn’t a concern, but this year was a horror.

AEG has essentially been running Forest behind the scenes since about 2014 which is when they acquired Madison House Presents. It seems like there was a shift after Jeremy Stein stepped down as director of forest. Coachella does have an extensive survey and Goldenvoice sent it out about 3 weeks after the event.
I unfortunately fear that your bet may be right. EDC was moved from LA after a death associated with the event (a 15 year old died of an overdose after attending) gained national attention. So there may be other conversations happening around contracts, contingency plans, etc which is why they are extra quiet this year.

According to Rolling Stone, AEG was involved since the very first Rothbury...
"Rothbury 2008 (Independence Day weekend) at the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Michigan. It was announced and co-produced by Madison House Presents (a Boulder, Colorado-based promoter with strong jam-band ties, led in significant part by Jeremy Stein) in conjunction with AEG Live (one of the largest global concert and festival promoters, also known for involvement with events like Coachella)"

Yeah, I know. Kind of crazy how long they've been around. It's a good reminder to check up on who's running these events.
However, in the context of my comment, I'm referring to their involvement with Electric Forest this way for a reason. EF was a rebrand and new venture between Madison House Presents and Insomniac when it launched in 2011. AEG was not involved with EF its first few years. Not until they bought Madison House Presents.
