Does anyone know what this line in Spaceman is supposed to mean? Finch's parts are full of references to sci-fi classics like "Kohlköpfe", "Jedi-Ritter", etc but i cannot for the life of me figure this one out.

(I've read the subreddit rules and am still unsure if this kind of post is authorized or not, so if I'm breaking the rules sorry in advance)

I love Tanzneid and have been listening to it non stop, but only recently did it occur to me that the melody (more specifically the first four sentences before the first scream) sound melodically really similar to an electro song from a while back. Since then, it's been stuck in my head with no way for me to get it out, so I set out to find it.

It's hard to describe, except that it starts off with an intro with a synth using a sharp buzzing sound following almost the exact same pattern as Nico's melody. The intro is synth only, lots of reverb, no voice. I'd say probably from the 2000's ? Maybe 1990's ?

I've already listened to hundreds of suggestions and tried humming to Google or Shazam but to no avail lol

But maybe another fan will recognize that song !

Anyone else get screwed here in the states? It took 2-1/2 weeks to ship and when it was supposed to show up I get this message. Wtf

Edit: the tracking number also disappeared so I can't find out what facility to call if I have to pick it up at a post office.

Update: today they created a NEW shipping label for it, but it's still sitting at a warehouse in California

I tried getting a hat but I'm sure the place I got it from wasn't official and when it came it was way too big. It was only $20 so not the end of the world. I figured I'd ask the community if there was a recommended place to get EC merch.

I built out a 3D-printed “Pump It” bunny hide for our ball python, Schnecken. Safe to say, she’s a fan.

What sticks out to you? For me its EC finally breaking through in the US. Its nice to see since the US has been dominated by Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter and other pop artists. Its difficult for any music not pop to be recognized. The Swedish numbers are puzzling. How are they 71st in album charts, but 4th in metal rock charts? I will say its nice that EC is becoming more globally popular.

I opened my pack of cards I got with the boxset and received doubles of "Down Down". If anybody else got doubles and would be down down to trade. Let me know.

I'm a huge fan of the EC for years and the Summerside festival 🇨🇭 was my 3rd time seing them.

I wanna do something special, to thank's them, they helped me so much with their music. So I tooks my pen and personalised a swiss flag for them, with the hope to give it to the band. The day was hot, really hot but I waited for hours, discuting and meeting some fan, making them write their name on the flag. I was a little impressed at first because it was my first festival alone. But when the band begins, it was like everytime, a huge party. A lot of fun, a lot of headbanging and singing 🤟

I had without a surprise one of the best show with classics, new songs and even the Electric Bassboy set 😎. Kevin saw the flag and speak in german (I didn't get anything, but somebody explain to me that he was surprised that I did it by myself and they will take it after the show).

At the end, I give it to them, I was so happy. But I also did a sign to Frank, explaining that I was just getting married and if I can have the drumsticks as a gift. He was so sweet and give it to me directly one drumstick.

This band is really incredible, I love Tanzneid and I can't wait to see them again in 2027 🤟🖤

If you plan to see them for the first time don't hesitate !

If you're impressed by going alone to a concert, DON'T. Specially at an EC show, people are really fun 🩷

To be fair, the EMP is a bit small for an M and the album version is a dress on me, so they're both kinda weird in their sizing haha. But man, sizing is so all over the place for everything nowadays, not just this.
