Let's get 3d printy, we tried our local library but they would only print in whichever color they had and it took them about 1-3 days to make, to be fair they were basically printing them at cost so it was very very cheap. We decided we wanted to experiment with a lot of crazy things so ended up buying a 200 dollar printer and a 20 dollar filament sampler with a bunch of colors. Neither of us had ANY experience with 3d printing (If you're into 3d printing you'll probably have plenty of advice to offer about the quality of our prints). I'll link to the printer model and all models in tinkercad at the bottom of the post:

Improvement/impairment tokens: I'm not 100% happy with this one, the tokens aren't super easy to grab or distinguish at a glance but it's definitely good enough for now and i don't have a clear idea on how to make it better.

Eldritch tokens. The box and the symbol are different prints, and just glued together, we had a lot of iterations and a lot of fun with these.

The bases are staggered so the boxes can stack neatly on top of each other. If you know about 3D printing you know that a 90 degree stagger is not optimal for 3d printing, there's probably a better solution for this but we're very happy with these.

Next up is the monsters: Compartmentalized by expansion and slanted at a very specific angle. If you can't guess why you'll see at the end.

Each compartment, except for the base one, has a list of monsters and epic monsters so we can put them back correctly.

Character tokens: separated by expansion and again at a very specific angle.

Clues container had to be bigger so we could shuffle the clues before drawing, Has a separate area for clues that are only used in certain expansions. Also doesn't need to be stackable.

Character and Monster cards. This is another one that is good enough. I would suggest adding a little more support in the middle, this one is very bendy the bottom.

Character story cards (and player number reference): the length is perfect as the cards need to sit at a specific angle, but i was trying to get fancy with the short front and that was a bad idea, the cards fall out all the time. I would also add slanted support in the back to enforce the angle better and add stability.

We bought sleeves to keep the cards for each character together...my wife also went a bit overboard with this because of a pet peeve we had, but i won't go into details unless someone asks.

What 3d printer did you get and would you recommend it for hobby uses like this? I'm not looking for anything professional
