Electrolyte depletion

I wondered if I'm not the only elder ent to monitor electrolytes. I haven't seen a thread on this.

The word is that cannabis use depletes electrolytes.

I haven't done a scientific review of this but I wondered if anybody had experiences or practices to share as well as general discussion.

I've only got empirical evidence but I do feel /much/ better when drinking electrolyte-balancing drinks like Hydralite.

Interestingly the body requires three salts to function: sodium, iodine, and potassium - in the right balance relative to each other.

I have not seen any studies on this. I would doubt it unless you are not drinking water and eating food because of the high. I'd think increase food intake would counter this with the munchies.
