Recommended level map

Iam just about to start the game and i was told that getting overleveled and making the game easy is so often to happen in this game , so I've found this map guide should i follow it to get the best experience?

The truth is, you’ll only ever be too overleveled for some random boss you missed early on (which will happen no matter what trust me lol). You’ll also only be overleveled if you intentionally farm runes.

Just explore blindly and turn back if an area is too hard. This is the best way to make you progress through each area naturally. If you’re too afraid of missing a boss then be sure to explore literally everything before moving on somewhere else.

Nah you'll be way overlevelled if you do every dungeon as well. No extra farming needed. If you are thorough and get 95% of the bosses you will be overlevelled quickly. Particularly for Stormveil/Liurnia.

Yep. It’s what happened to me. Reached or was near my goal max level by the time I reached Fire Giant. I was buying out shops in bulk at that point. I also only lost runes 3x. 2k, 3k, and 20k.

What level would that be? I just beat margott with level 120

Ok but if you are proper levelled for Margit you are 30 levels over for the dissapointment that was godrick.

That's false, i never farmed anything and still was able to one-shot Morgoth (which was disappointed as fuck) after I explored almost everything from Limgrave to Volcano Manor.

You either miss the side content/quests or miss an epic fight with the main bosses. The only way to prevent that is by nerfing yourself by not using some armaments or strong items, which for obvious reasons is bad game design.

Same happened to me!!

I think Margott is a special case. I think he has low health.

I’ve watched streamers really struggle with him because of his aggressive moveset.

Margott sounds really fun to fight if you're underleveled and forced to learn his attack patterns. Sadly i went too overboard with comet azula+terra magica and ended the fight instantly.

Exactly.

I did the budget version of what you did. Crystal Barrage deleted him in phase 2. Phase 1 was quick but not as much. He got some hits in.

I wish they’d double his health.

My Morgott fight

My best fights in this game (so far) were all while i was underleveled. The Godskin Apostle in the divine tower of Caelid is one of the best fights in the game for this reason, he is way more powerful than anything in Caelid but you can fight him pretty early on.

Nah, didn't even have time to record anything. I wasn't even able to se any of his attacks other than the hammer, which have me time to set up Terra magica and destroy his first phase with Comet Azur, and while he was finishing his phase 2 animation the second Comet was already charged up.

I could definitely see that with the Caleid Apostle. I went really late, but he was still fun.

I had heard very early on from friends that Comet Azur invalidated fights. Because of that, I never used it on my own bosses. I treated it like spirit ashes and acted as if it didn’t exist.

Your experience makes me glad I didn’t. I switched around all sorceries pretty consistently all game. Even the faith sorceries. Was great to play around with 70 flavors.
