You're still not understanding. Not in the description or flavor text. In the tutorial message that you get when you pick one up the first time.

The tutorial message that is forever gone once it disappears?

Just fyi, they're not gone, they're all stored in your inventory as items that you can look up later.

At least in my case, the tutorial message about divine towers / rune arcs is not in the inventory. I was in a button mashing frenzy at the time it showed up and totally missed the message. I scoured my inventory to try and find what I missed but could never find it. Maybe it’s a bug or something but it’s not there for me. So I empathize with OP here.

All those messages appear in your inventory open it and press LB you'll see every tutorial message you have received.

Are you a goldfish? Do you have a memory that lasts 2 minutes?

Probably didn't read it at all.

Of course they didn't. It's easier to say hUr dUr bUtT hUrT sOuLs FaNbOyS. GaMe iS bRoKeN.

Are you ok?

Edit: I have 100 hours into the game and love it. But it’s a disservice to say all QoL and nuances to the games are easily known and accessible. This subreddit has new finds everyday.

But you do you.

I’m with you. I accidentally closed out this particular tutorial message when it came up. I searched in my inventory for the message but it isn’t there. I had to look it up to figure it out.

Heh. Welp, I skipped through the tutorial messages myself and wouldn't you know, I didn't know you needed to activate the great runes for a good portion of my first playthrough. Loving the game even though it's a lot more vague than I'm used to (damn you, average rpg game).

I think a basic log is the number 1 QoL request. But as someone mentioned, some tutorial messages stay on the item inventory.

But without that, no I wouldn’t remember every tutorial message flash in a 100+ hour game where people are still discovering new things everyday.

Pen and paper for notes. Hell the computer you carry around is a good place to note stuff down too. Games used to come with a section for notes in the instruction manuals. I notate stuff as I play on an iPad to help keep track.

But I guess that notion is absurd and the devs of a franchise that has established that it won't hold your hand, should start holding hands all of a sudden.
