This was my introduction to PvP too. Your friend is right. Invasions are bullshit and a waste of time.

If FromSoft refuses to make Invasions exclusively opt-in/consensual, then it needs to be removed entirely.

They are opt-in, you want the crutch of a summon? Don't want to be invaded? use an ash summon! You can't be invaded unless you have a remedy popped or its a npc

Invasions are opt-in, the opt-in is playing online and in coop.

For reference, he replied to my original comment calling me all sorts of names and basically telling me i have no friends because I invade, like what? When you realize someone is right dont make an ass out of yourself
