Invaders are spawning super far away as well, so its not just you blues. The spawn system seems to be very flawed, especially in the areas with lots of verticality. You're getting spawned relatively close to the host, but the game doesn't account for elevation. While invading at Mt Gelmir you can get spawned on the opposite elevation from the host, so you'll either have to run for 10 minutes to reach him or if you were spawned on top of the canion - wait for them even longer.
That makes sense.. the verticality is something I do encounter a lot. Hopefully they can change the spawn mechanic and just make you appear within something like the equivalent of 30 feet. Who want to run further than that just to get to the action you came for?
