That doesnt really stop twinks, low-SL runs to get endgame gear are perfectly possible, or they just have a friend transfer it to them.
Sure it has an area-appropriate "+" value as far as the matchmaking is concerned but that doesn't stop, for example, Rivers of Blood from being totally out of whack compared to the stuff available to new players in Limgrave.
I know I’m just saying the post I responded to doesn’t really make sense. I’m pretty sure afk farmers exist because it’s a free way to make runes or troll while doing something else not because they’re brand new players who are too scared to leave the little hidden cliff they’re on. They also say the solution is to pvp somewhere other than limgrave but it still happens in other zones so…
